ASJ welcomes our newest partner, the Israel Society for Plastic Surgeons.

Once again, it is my honor to announce a new international partnership. In past years, Aesthetic Surgery Journal has been adopted as the official English-language journal of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, the Japan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. I now take pleasure in informing you that the Israel Society for Plastic Surgeons (ISPS) has become our fourth international affiliate society. Dr. Michael Scheflan has been appointed by Dr. Yaron Har-Shai, president of ISPS, to serve as the Society’s liaison to ASJ. It is always gratifying to extend our network of international partners, because it testifies to both the spirit of cooperation between colleagues from different countries and to the growing reputation of ASJ as the world’s leading clinical journal of aesthetic surgery. Readers will find a brief introduction to the Israel Society written by Dr. Har-Shai and Dr. Ami Barak, Secretary of the Society, on page 448. We look forward to publishing the work of ISPS members in our journal and to actively sharing information with our Israeli colleagues.
